The plot starts with cell no. 145, in the jail. This cell has been closed for more than 50 years. One day, a guard on his daily rotation finds a strange man sleeping inside the cell. He gets frightened and calls for his superiors. Everyone in the jail is bewildered by this event. They are confused because the man appeared in a locked room. The authorities would start questioning the security of the jail so the superiors try blaming the jailer, Mostak. His superiors turn Mostak into a scapegoat and cause him problems daily.

The mysterious appearances create various rumors. The prisoners and even the authorities fear the mysterious man. They believe he might have some supernatural power. The man is mute and it becomes difficult to understand him. An interpreter reveals that the man said he has been in jail for more than 50 years. Everyone is bewildered as that is impossible. The other inmates start worshipping him. They call him Gazi Baba as he has no name. One of the inmates even claims that the mystery man can look in the eyes of a prisoner and tell whether he is guilty of the crime.

The story proceeds with the revelation that the mystery man has come from Andaman. The officers investigate to find that the mystery man and the jailer, Mostak are related. But Mostak claims he does not know him. This event increased the tension between Mostak, the mystery man, and the police. An inmate, Raju, knows the mystery man but has kept quiet all this time. He is furious that the mystery man has come to this jail. The second season starts with Maha, a young woman. She is looking for her father after he disappeared mysteriously.

On looking for him, she discovers about the mystery man. His original name is David Adam. She visits him in the prison to get more information about her father. David decides to help her on one condition. It is revealed that David works for a secret group. Finally, Maha decides to help David. David is sent to this jail to fulfill a secret mission that Raju had failed before. David and Raju plan to complete their mission readily as the prisoners will be shifted to another jail soon. As per their plan initially, they are to provoke Gulzar, another prisoner, to fight with David. When David and Gulzar are to fight, the group calls off their mission. But David keeps his promise and tells Maha where to find her father. The mission gets canceled, but Raju still proceeds with the plan.
