Dashi is a Bengali serial that premiered on Colors Bangla on 25th July 2016. The serial focuses on the norms of society and a girl named Mungli who gets trapped in the flesh market. Rajdeep, a fellow journalist takes pity on her and buys her off the human market. He dedicates his life to expose the reality of society and starts to work on the case of Mungli.
The day he presents her at a conference is the same day he is about to get married to a woman named Tanya. Tanya has no qualms against Mungli but the way Rajdeep is invested in the work bothers her to an extent. What happens after Mungli is brought forth and the reality of the whole situation sets in constitutes the rest of the story.
