as Bhuvaneswari, Suchitra as Gowri, Jaanu's mother, Sudheer as Neelakanta and Sharif Vikram as Manohar. Actor Ravi Kiran has played the role of Shankar, Jaanu's father, who later dies in the story. Vishnuvardhan’s wife, Bhuvaneshwari is a conceited and cunning woman who wants her husband to stop helping the cook and his family. In a planned accident, Shankar dies and Janaki realizes the hurdles she had to face. Raghuram and Janaki share a bond since their childhood, and even Ram isn’t very fond of his stepmother, Bhuvaneshwari. Together, they try to thwart her evil plans. The serial was very gripping and entertaining.Â
