Payanangal Mudivathillai is a tv show about the story of Tamil actor and Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M. G. Ramachandran. He is popularly known as MGR. The show was aired on Thanthi TV. The show means Journeys do not end. In the show, Saidai Duraisamy told the things related to MGR. The show started in December 2019. The show started with the host telling unknown things about him and then it moved on to tell his life stories. It aired at 8.50 pm. It ended on 5 January 2020. In the show, the host presented a documentary on him and told his life story.
In the show, they told how he came to become an actor and how he did some of the best films in the Tamil industry. Then the show moved forward on telling basic things that are not known by most people. In the show, they said that he made his film debut in 1936 in the film Sathi Leelavathi. In 1987, he breathed his last. He worked till his last breathe.
His entry in politics happened in 1953 when he was a member of the congress party. Later he left Congress and joined DMK. In 1967 he was elected as Legislative assembly and after that, he became Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. He was given the Bharat Ratna award.Â
