Crayon Shin-chan is a Tamil dubbed version of a Japanese manga series which was written and illustrated by Yoshito Usui. Dubbing artist Raghuvaran voiced the Tamil version which it airs on Hungama Tv. This story is about a the life of a 5-year-old boy Shinnosuke or Shin Nohara who lives with his parents, baby sister, and a dog. It set in Japan where it follows the adventures of Shin-chan who always does mischievous acts which are both amusing and entertaining. Shin-chan does everything to annoy his parents and teachers and his peculiar jokes are what makes this series famous.
His parents and teachers try hard to make him a sensible student, but their all efforts are in vain. Most of the jokes in the series are inappropriate and unnatural. This is primarily because some Japanese phrases are difficult to translate in other languages. Many parents filed a complaint against this series for showing inappropriate behavior of a child, which eventually lead to banning of the series. But after many requests from the fans, this series is on air again as Indian censor board heavily edited the content.
