The show’ host is Dr. Sumanth Raman and later by Dr. Srirama Narayanan who also came up with the idea for the show. It is a telephonic game show and has been running since 2002 on DD podhigai. In 2017, it completed 800 episodes which made it the longest-running show in Indian industry.
It is telecast on Sunday nights. The sponsors of the show, as well as the branding, is done by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited. They also distribute the prizes amongst all members. Contestants reach out through SMS, mobile phone as well as on skype.
