Laxmi Pratima is an Odia romantic drama TV serial that aired on Colors Odia. This is a story about Lakshmi, who is called by her short name Lachi. Her marriage is not the best as her husband is not in love with her. But she sees this marriage as a favor done by her husband to her and does everything to make this marriage possible. Her husband, Chandan, is a 26-year-old man who is deeply in love with Shruthi. Chandan is a good son and cares for her mother the most. Parvathi is his mother, who is a widow and is against the idea of love marriage.
She asks her son to never indulge in a marriage that comes out of love but rather marry a girl that she will select. The girl selected by her is the epitome of a great daughter-in-law for her. Being a considerate son, he agrees to his mother’s request and gets married to Lachi. Lachi is very grateful to Chandan for marrying her. Chandan does not have any feelings for Lachi or their relationship. Will Chandan eventually end up falling in love with Lachi, or does destiny has anything else in store for them?
