‘V The Serial’ is a soap opera on Indian television. Not like any other daily and weekly soap this TV show features TV celebrities play their real live in this serial. The show has many TV stars including Karan Kundra, Sara Khan, Pooja Gor, Raj Singh Arora, Soumya Seth, Vikrant Massey and many others celebrities giving their best making the makes this a special show. The Serial is unique in itself giving insights on how the celebrities deal in their personal life. This is a unique program which unveils the struggles and pain of celebrity actors. The Serial' offers its viewers a new concept with flavor of reality, hint of fantasy and lots of drama.

The Serial was premiered in India on Channel V on the 26th November year 2012. The show is broadcasted from Monday to Friday. The show was ended on the 7the March of 2013. Due to its popularity the second season of the show was premiered in 2013. This show was produced by Lost Boy Productions and Balaji Telefilms. Season 1 and 2 of ‘The Serial’ gained a lot of popularity not just within youngsters but even the elder people like it a lot. The real life of celebrities added with natural acting gained the million hearts. Consequently, the producers of the show are in their way towards releasing The Serial’s season 3.

1. Rohan Shah

Rohan Shah, an actor, model and dancer, was born on 29 December 1994 in Mumbai. At the age of 5 he did his first TV commercial ad for colgate. From there he was seen in about 300 commercials. He acted in television serials including as Mandy in Ishaan aired on Disney Channel on Sony and he played the role of himself in the V The Serial. He was also seen on Boogie Woogie, an Indian dance reality show. He also did episodics like Gumrah on Channel V Yeh Hai Aashiqui aired on Bindass channel. His list of Hindi films includes Kyun! Ho Gaya Na in 2004, Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara in 2005, Aao Wish Karein in 2009 and played the role of child Kaal in Krish 3.

2. Karan Kundra

Karan Kundra, television actor and model, was born in business family in Punjab on 11 October 1984. He studied in Mayo College in Rajasthan and did his masters in management in the US. Currently he is living in Mumbai. Apart being a model and actor he runs his family business of infrastructural amenities along with his father. He debut on television with a Hindi serial Kitani Mohabbat Hai as Arjun Punj. His television career include Kitani Mohabbat Hai 2 on Imagine TV, Bayttaab Dil Kee Tamanna Hai on Sony TV in 2009, Aahat on Sony TV in 2010, Zara Nachke Dikha, dance reality show on Star Plus in 2010, Hosted a TV show Gumrah on Channel V, Teri Meri Love Stories on Star Plus and in 2014 MTV Fanaah as Vampire. He play the role of himself on V The serial in 2012 on Channel V.

3. Soumya Seth

Soumya Seth, television actress was born on 17 October 1990 in Guwahati. She was first seen on screen in a dance performance in Om Shanti Om as audience in 2007. She started her career with television as Navya in Navya..Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal. She also appeared on Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat as a female lead. In the ‘V The Serial’ she played a supporting role.

4. Sara Khan

Sara Khan, a model and actress, was born on 6 August 1989 in Bhopal. She studied in the university of Mumbai. In 2007 Sara won Miss Bhopal title. She started her career with anchoring for Doordarshan Madhya Pradesh and ETV. As an actor she made debut as in Sapne Babul Ka Bidaai on Star Plus in 2007 and later in Ram Milaayi Jodi in 2011. Her bollywood career started with Total Siyapaa. She did reality shows- Bigg Boss 4 in 2010 and Welcome - Baazi Mehmaan-Nawaazi ki in 2013. During the Big Boss 4 show she married Ali Merchant on 10 November 2010 and divorced after 2 months in 2011. She played herself in the V The Serial in 2013. For her role of Sahana in Bidaai she won best new actor award by Indian Telly Awards in 2008.

5. Pooja Gaur

Pooja Gaur is popular as Pratigya on Indian television was born on 01 June 1991 in Gujarat. She appeared in Kitani Mohabbat Hai as Purvi on Imagine TV in 2008. She played the lead role in Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya in 2009. She was also a participant in reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi (season 5) in 2014. She played herself on V The Serial. In 2010 and 2011. She won 5 Star Parivaar awards and best actress from The Global Indian Film and TV honours in 2011.
