All Is Well Teaser, Trailer & Video Songs
All is Well is a Bollywood romantic dramedy film. It has a strong cast of Rishi Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Supriya Pathak and Asin. The story of the movie is based on the estranged members of a family. There is palpable discord between all the members of the family; Inder (Abhishek) and Bhajanglal (Rishi) are at loggerheads with each other, whereas Bhajanglal and Pammi’s (Supriya) married life hasn’t turned out to be fruitful as well.
The film revolves around a road trip the family takes, along with Nimmi (Asin), Inder’s girlfriend, to run away from a local goon to whom Bhajanglal owes a lot of money. All of this drama is woven in a web of slapstick humor to lighten the otherwise intense dramatic sequences. The film closes on a happy note, with the family members resolving their issues (after a few revelations), and sends out a strong message of a need for unity within a family.
The film received largely unfavorable reviews from the critics. The plot and screenplay are described as ‘lazy’, ‘logic-less’ and even ‘idiotic’. The actors were praised for their performances. The film managed to recuperate its budget at the box-office, but it hardly set the ticket counters ticking.
