Vennela’s parents brought her up as an independent girl. Once, her father brings home a book written by Ravanna. Impressed by the book, she wants to meet him. Ravanna aka Aranya is a maoist leader. Even without seeing him, Vennela decides to spend the rest of her life with him. She sets out on a journey to meet him. Was she successful? The rest of the story deals with it.
Sai Pallavi steals the show with her excellent performance. Rana’s role is not much expressive, but the actor proves his worth through his eyes. Zareena Wahab, Nandita Das, Priyamani, and Naveen Chandra excelled in the given roles. Easwari Rao and Sai Chand are pretty decent as Vennela’s parents.
The story is different and the making style too. Sai Pallavi is the perfect choice for the performance-oriented role. Other than the main stars, who excelled in their role, the music composer took the film to the next level along with the cinematographers. The BGM and visuals are fantastic and make the audience travel with the script. The editing is proper, but certain scenes should have been chopped.
What’s Not There?
