Plot

Krishna’s Rolls Royce car worth some crores has been stolen by someone. Krishna files a complaint with the Police Station. Ranjith Kumar Ranjith Kumar is an actor and director based in Ta >> Read More... is the Police officer, who is appointed to find out the missing car. He suspects three people; a mechanic, an uneducated youngster Shiva and Karthik, a happy-go-lucky boy. However, all the three say that they didn’t steal the car and claims to be innocent. Then who is the culprit? Did Ranjith Kumar find out the car thief? Why was the car stolen? To get the answer to these questions, visit the theaters.

Star Performance

Nara Rohit has done a lot of cop roles and this is one among them. He has done the given job well. Although Sundeep has a lesser screen appearance, he had done justice to his role. Sudheer Babu plays an emotional role and it has worked out. Rajendra Prasad, Suman, Chandini and Indraja have fulfilled the expectations of the director.

Analysis

Sriram Adittya has engaged the right people for his script. Although it is a medium budget film, it looks cool and stylish. The film has a good script but not an interesting screenplay. This is where the director fails. Draggy scenes irritate the audiences, many times.

Poor screenplay is the big drawback of Shamantakamani
The first half is little draggy and give yawning moments

Verdict

With the four popular heroes, Sriram has grabbed the attention of the audiences. But, as the screenplay is not compelling he finds it hard to retain the audiences. As the suspense on the car is neatly maintained, the audience finds it interesting. However, it is not a poor movie. Shamantakamani could be watched once!
