Although the movie was ready to be shot in May-June this year, the production has been postponed due to actor Nandamuri Balakrishna's 100th film. Krishna Vamsi will now first direct Balakrishna’s 100th film before continuing with Rudraksha’s production.
Krishna Vamsi is directing a women-centric horror fantasy movie with two lead actresses and five lead actors. Earlier Anushka Shetty was ready to be the lead in the film but due to her prior commitment to Bahubali 2 the director has roped in Samantha for the role.
Ramya Krishna of Baahubali and wife of Krishna Vamsi is also playing a pivotal role in the film. The film is said to be Krishna Vamsi’s most expensive film and contains a lot of VFX.
