Plot
Karthik is a crime reporter. Seeking a new house for rent, he and his friend get a house. The house has a landline phone that attracts Karthik. It is an old model phone. Karthik receives a call to the landline phone and a lady named Sujatha speaks with him. Soon, Karthik gets frequent calls from Sujatha. Why does she call Karthik frequently? Is there any plan behind her calls? What is Karthik’s connection to the phone and Sujatha? The rest of the story deals with these.
Star Performance
Ananya’s natural performance impresses the audience. Dinesh Tej has given a decent performance.
Analysis
The film travels to two different time periods and the telephone plays an important role. The telephone conversation scenes are quite different and interesting. The narration is good in the first half and sluggish in the second half. Some of the flashback scenes are not explained well. As the movie frequently juggles between the two time periods, the audience gets confused. The screenplay should have been designed better for a quick understanding. The cinematography is quite decent, but the BGM is average.
