Well, Nani, who is basking in the success of his previous blockbuster Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, has come up with a romantic thriller in 2016. And Nani is also known for experimenting with his scripts. Well, let’s see whether Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha proves to be a winner for Nani and also the unit.

Nani is an ordinary guy, who is a great fan of Nandamuri Balakrishna and lives in Hindupur. He is head over heels in love with Mehrene Kaur Pirzada whom he knows since childhood. Mehreen happens to belong to an affluent faction family, and she is the only sibling of a local goon. Well, don’t expect the hero to challenge the villain at the very outset! Here, our Natural Star Nani is visibly frightened to even approach Mehreen’s brother. And Mehrene, on her part, leaves no stone unturned in delaying marriage plans.

Well, love gets meaning only if made known right? So Nani makes up his mind to reveal his love towards Mehreen to her brother. When he is about to do so, Mehreen’s house is targeted by their rival group. And to add to the twist, Mehrene is missing in the house while her whole family is shattered leave alone Mehreen’s three nephews. And Nani gathers courage and flees with the kids to protect them. What happens to Nani’s love life? How is the bond between Nani and the kids showcased? Watch the movie to find out.

Star Performances

Nani is back to entertain us after his great show in Bhale Bhale Magadivoi. One should surely mention his character sketch which is crafted well. As for his portrayal, Nani proves yet again with his tryst with comedy. Also, he has done full justice to the role of a guy full of fears, yet trying hard to win his love. Moksha, Naini, and Pratham, the kids in the film, deserves a peck on their cheeks. Debutant Mehrene has done a convincing job;don’t be surprised if you see more of her on the big screen. Harish’s performance is convincing. Sampath Raj, who essays the role of a no-nonsense cop, does a neat job. Murli Sharma, Prudhvi, Satyam Rajesh, Prabhas Seenu and Brahmaji do what is required of them.

Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha is a mixture of all the commercial factors that are required to make a movie go well in the box office. Director Hanu Raghavapudi has come up with a peculiar story and has handled the script in an astute manner. The manner in which he has balanced romantic and thrilling aspects shows his proficiency.

What’s there?

  • The movie has a storyline which is quite different from the usual run-of-the-mill plots. The screenplay too works in favor of the film.
  • The enmity between the two factions has been established strongly in the movie.
  • The sequences in which Nani shares screen space with the children will entertain the audience.
  • Music of debutant Vishal Chandrasekhar complements with the tempo of the movie. BGM is also good.
  • Lyrics of Krishna Kanth also deserve mention.
  • Debutant J Yuvraj’s cinematography is outstanding. The visuals are a treat to the eyes.
  • The sufficient twists in the movie will keep you engrossed throughout the timeframe.
  • The emotional segments are executed in a commendable manner.
  • Dialogues adhere to the flow of the movie.
  • The romance element is narrated in a convincing manner in the film.

What’s not there?

  • The movie stretches in the second half.
  • The movie is devoid of logic at some places.

This Gaadha is another feather in the cap of Nani. Don’t miss it for its entertainment value.
