Plot
Best Actors is a film about four friends who go to Goa during their holiday. These four friends are Nandu, Krishna, Madhu and Abhi. Abhi is trying to be a director and filmmaker, Nandu is a fashion designer, Madhu is a software professional and is struggling at work as he doesn’t get the promotion he was longing for, and Krishna has gone through a break-up that has led him to seek solace from binge drinking. That is when they plan a trip to Goa to take a break from all the stress. At Goa, Nandu and Madhu come across two gorgeous ladies, Jaya Sudha and Jaya Pradha. The friends woo these ladies and make love with them. However, later it is revealed that one of these ladies are suffering from a dangerous sexual disease and it has been intrntionally transmitted to one of the friends. The rest of the film is about the real motive and identity of these ladies, and who amongst the two friends the disease is transmitted to.
Star Performance
Nandu stands out from all actors in the cast as his performance is the most natural and exceptional.
Madhurima is also excellent in her performance.
Analysis
The comedy in the film is the strength of the film. The cinematography of the film is vibrant and immaculate, and has beautifully displayed the different locations. The film’s start is quite entertaining but after around half an hour the comedy becomes somewhat bland and the dialogues fail to leave an impression. After that, the twists in the film were intriguing, but the film starts to feel dull and dragged. The ending was also hilarious because of Thagubothu Ramesh. One weakness of the film is that the whole script is a bit predictable. The cast put up a good show, and every one of them showcased their ingenious skills. However, the two leads were a bit unexpressive during the emotional scenes. The background music is mediocre.

The film is quite entertaining but at an average level, so I suggest you watch it if you are looking for some light comedy.
