Plot
Vyas works in a school as a teacher, where his wife, Bhagi, is the principal. Vyas opposes the conventional method of teaching, and promotes concept-based learning. His wife Bhagi dislikes the idea, and strongly opposes it. Vyas’ son and a few students fail in the exam. Hence, the management decides to lay off Vyas from the job. Will Vyas make his son and the others who failed to score better in the next attempt? The rest of the film follows this.
Star Performance
Sumanth’s emotional performance once again proved that he is a topper. Srinivas Avasarala performed excellently as a strict teacher. Kajal has done a decent job. Master Viharsh played his role well as directed.
Analysis
The film has a good concept, yet it is outdated. A sincere teacher, who wants to change the education system and make all the weak students toppers, is not a new one to the Indian film industry. The film takes too much time to get into the concept. The pacing is not even in both halves. The lead’s efforts to change the educational system should’ve been told with enough depth. The father-son bonding scenes are made well. Pavan’s camera work is neat. Though the concept is outdated, the presentation is neat, which helped the film appeal well. The music is good. The songs gel well with the concept.
