Ajay Passayyadu is scripted and directed by Prem Bhagirath. The film is produced by Suryakamala and Rajendra. Sahini Srinivas is the music director and J Ganesan is the cinematographer. The film has the star cast of Ajay Aman, Ambika, Jhansi and Siva Narayana.

Ajay, who is a soft natured guy with helping tendency, falls for Nandini and she too loves him. When their love track was going on fine, Ajay helps his friend and this didn’t go well with Nandini. Nandini fell for him only by seeing his kind nature. But, why did she hate him for helping his friend? In what situation did Ajay help his friend? Did he get back Nandini? Watch it in theaters!

Star Performance

The debutant Ajay Aman did an okayish job and the heroine Ambika is good with her emotions. Siva Narayana and Jhansi performed as directed. The rest of the supporting stars didn’t impress.

First of all, this is not a unique script. The screenplay is not impressive and the romantic track between the lead stars are not designed well. The characters are not designed in detail. When the audience expect that the director will get into the story at least after the interval block, it didn’t happen at all. When the story is not impressive, sometimes, it will get clicked for its music and the performances. But, the music too failed to attract the audiences. Except for the main roles, the rest of the cast didn’t impress. They just stood before the camera and mouthed the dialogues. The cinematography is poor and the editing too. The production design is not up to the mark and hence the film fails to attract the audience.

What’s There?

  • The lead stars’ okayish performance

What’s Not There?

  • Screenplay is average
  • The narration is not impressive
  •  Supporting stars irked the audiences
  • Cinematography, music and the production design are average

Not even a single department right from the production design to direction attracts the audiences. Totally, Ajay Passayyadu didn’t get the pass mark, as it failed to impress.
