Plot
Moothakudi is a village, and the matriarch of the village strongly banned alcohol from their village due to a clash during a festival. Many were killed in this clash, and hence this decision by the matriarch. The matriarch and her brother adopt two kids, who lost their parents in the clash. After a few years, the matriarch’s son falls in love with his cousin, but she loves his brother. Meanwhile, a politician tries to poison the Moothakudi people’s minds and make them consume alcohol to get votes. As he was unable to succeed in this attempt, he made the matriarch’s son an alcohol addict. What happens next? Was the matriarch able to bring her son back from addiction? The rest of the story reveals this.
Star Performance
KR Vijaya, who plays the matriarch, looks so tired. However, her expressions and dialogue delivery are good. In most of the scenes, she is seen fixed in the same place. Tarun Gopi and Anvisha did a decent job. Tarun Gopi overacted in a scene before the climax and tried to attract some attention. But his effort didn’t create any impact. The rest of the actors did what was expected of them.
Analysis
The story doesn’t look new and it resembles of some old rural movies from the 90s. The director tries to speak about the negative side of politics and alcoholism, which were already done and dusted. Some characters are not developed well. The screenplay is not gripping. The cinematography is not impressive and the editing is average.

Though there are a few interesting scenes, if the screenplay had been designed well, the film might have attracted the audience. If you are interested in watching a rural movie, you can watch it!
