Plot

Lakshmikanthan is an ordinary man. He is a retired theatre artist. He is enjoying his life with his newly built house. He lives with his son, daughter, and daughter-in-law. One day, some goons who work for Senathipathi disrupt his peaceful life. They paint their Party logo on Lakshmikanthan's house wall. When he complained about it, they cut off his power supply. He understood that the police were on Senathipathi's side. His friends somehow restored his power supply. Senathipathi came to know that Lakshmikathan restores his power supply. This situation made Senathipathi destroy his house wall. Now this situation is going out of Lakshmikanthan's hands. He is now going to oppose Senathipathi in the election. Who will win the election? Why Senathipathi disrupts Lakshmikanthan’s peaceful life? The rest of the film speaks about this.

Star Performance

The actor's acting performance was outstanding. The actors performance was actual. Their emotions towards the characters were fantastic. Their acting made the film alive and watchable. K.S. Ravikumar as Lakshmikathan was incredible. He was enjoying his life until Senathipathi came. His role had various meanings and messages. He was a symbol or element of an average human who just wanted to live a quite life. But his quite life became terrible because of a wall. He can not handle the injustice. K. S. Ravikumar shows this acting performance amazingly. Mime Gopi's character was good. He is a cruel politician who likes to play with his followers. He became scared when he came to know that Lakshmikathan was going to oppose him. A character of a corrupted policeman is necessary for the political drama. Srinath became this missing character. Srinath character made a huge impact. His character shows the reality of today's inspectors and their responsibilities. All the other actors were excellent.

Analysis

The film maintains its theme. It did not go beyond its theme. Various issues are shown in this film. Today’s politician's hunger for money is shown in this film. First half of the film was childish, but the second half was sensible. The film was made on a low budget but still created a significant impact. The dialogues were excellent. The film shows the absolute truth and not deliberately started lies. Music had an excellent effect on the film. The film has various messages shown in every plot of the film. The film lacks suspense but still makes it watchable.
