Plot
A village gets a public toilet and the women in the village are happy about this. But, their happiness didn’t last long, as the men divided by various groups started discussing who should use the toilet first. Everyone decided unanimously to make an elderly person use their first toilet. During this chaos, the village's hairdresser gets an electoral ID with his name marked as Nelson Mandela. Soon, he becomes the talk of the town and the village groups started to serve him better. But, he doesn’t know the reason why they treat him sweetly. What will happen if he casts his vote? The rest of the film has a lot of interesting sequences.
Star Performance
Yogi Babu has done his part excellently well and we can say that it is his best performance so far. Sheela Rajkumar, GM Kumar and Kanna Ravi did justice to the given roles.
Analysis
The director makes his debut with this film and this doesn’t seem to be his first film. He had scripted it pretty well and the screenplay is racy. The current political situation is handled in the film and the director has inserted the serious things hilariously. The characters are designed well and the right stars are placed. The caste groups and their atrocities are shown well and there is no shortage of comedy. Each and every scene has a political punch and a comedy bunch. The cinematography and the BGM add strength to the film.

Mandela is a complete comedy entertainer with political satire. With some good performances and comedy, the film attracts the audience. Mandela – watchable!
