Plot
The City Police Commissioner orders the Police Officers to trace the drug dealers, as the city is filled with a lot of such criminals. Gaja is a drug dealer and Reddy is the drug supplier. Gaja signs an agreement with Reddy that he shouldn’t sell the products only to him. Reddy agreed to it. Gaja supplies the drugs to medical college students. Commissioner’s daughter and a middle-class youngster get affected seriously. The boy dies and the girl is seriously affected and admitted to the hospital. Besides this, some children, who were given the drug-mixed food are also getting affected. On seeing this, Gaja quit his drug business. Pathi, the right hand of Gaja, undertakes the job. Star Performance
Mothi did his job well. Vicky Aditya didn’t have much to do. Harini played her part well. Jeeva Ravi did a decent job. ‘Amuthavanan’ and Jeeva Bala are seen in comedy roles. But, they didn’t impress.
Analysis
The director had penned a script to communicate a social message to the audiences. The screenplay should have been crisper to attract the audience. The execution is sluggish too. The characters are not designed properly, except the heroine and Gaja character. The music is okayish and the Thameen Alex’s visuals are good.

Although the script comes with a message, it will be effective if the screenplay, execution and performances are good. Kola is an average film and if you don’t have any movie to watch, this weekend, you could try it.
