Plot

Accidents occur frequently at the doorstep of a bungalow on East Coast Road. When the cops close the files as accidents, the people in the area suspect it as the game of some ghosts. But, a popular female writer suspects it as murders. She finds it out that the characters, which she writes in her story are getting killed and these deaths happen on a particular date. Why do these happen? What is the connection between the writer and the deaths? Watch the film to know the rest.

Star Performance

Dana did her part well. Director Basker played the villain and he is okayish with his performance. The emotional performance of Kausalya is good.

Analysis

The script is different but not the screenplay. The characterization is quite okay. If the screenplay is strong, then the performance of the stars would have been projected well. Shravan’s music is okayish and the cinematography is also good.

What’s There?

  • Different script is the plus point in Khyla
  • Stars had given their best

What’s Not There?

  • The screenplay is not impressive

Verdict

If the screenplay had been better, the film would have reached the audience. With a weak screenplay, the performance of the stars didn’t get much projected and hence the movie didn’t attract many. If you want to try a new thriller, then you could watch the film, this weekend.
