Plot
Prabhu loves to work abroad. But, he gets a simple job and he had to accept it to run his life. He works as a delivery partner. He is married to Indu. She is an ideal wife who supports her husband to achieve his dreams. She is also a working woman who helps her husband in maintaining the family without any financial trouble. Indu is pregnant and they are happy that they would be parents soon. When they plan for a better life, fate has different plans for them. Indu was robbed and brutally attacked by some unknown people. They went to the police station to complain about this to the inspector, Kannabiran. After that, they face new challenges in their life, which they had ever dreamt of. The rest of the film shows how the couple is trapped. To know whether they escape or not, watch the film.
Star Performance
Suresh’s expressions are fantastic and he fits in the role well. Raveena did justice to the given character. Mime Gopi is the menacing villain and he is perfect with his part.
Analysis
Although we had seen similar stories like ‘Visaaranai,’ this film has a unique storyline. The star selection is fantastic and the casting team receives thumbs up. The BGM and the cinematography are excellent and they make us travel with the story. The dialogues are good and they reveal the reality. Violent scenes are not shown elaborately and that is one of the positive points of this film. The scenes are shot quite naturally, especially the scenes when Kannabiran and Prabhu meet, create a great impact.

Kavalthurai Ungal Nanban is a good film with satisfying performances, good production value, excellent directorial skills and neat technical works. Finally, they make hearts heavy!
