Plot

Kathir loves Anbu deeply. But, due to the family issues, he couldn’t move with her freely and express his feelings to her. Karuppan is staying with his mentally challenged mother. Karuppan and Anbu fall in love. Maayi, Anbu’s brother, designs a deal that if Karuppan wins over his bull in the Jallikattu, Maayi is ready to get his sister married to Karuppan. Karuppan accepts the challenge and tames Maayi’s bull. Maayi is ready to fulfill his promise. But, this didn’t go well with Kathir, who loves Anbu, one-sidedly. He does some tricks and tries to separate the couple. Did he get success in separating them? Watch the film on the silver screen!

Star Performance

Vijay Sethupathi has got yet another tailor-made role for him. His performance is excellent as usual. Tanya has got a weight role and she did it with perfection. Her eyes are expressive and she looks beautiful in Sari. Bobby Sethupathi has got yet another tailor-made role for him. His performance is excellent as usual. Tanya has got a weight role and she did it with perfection. Her eyes are expressive and she looks beautiful in Sari. Bobby Simha has done whatever is needed for the role. Renuka has emoted well in the limited screen presence and the same for Pasupathy too.

Analysis

Director R Panneerselvam has characterized the characters Karuppan, Anbu and Maayi well. Kathir character should have been designed a bit well and Bobby Simha should have been given some weight. However, we could say that the script is not new. If some other artist had done this role other than Vijay Sethupathi, the movie would have gone dud at the box office.Sethupathi, the movie would have gone dud at the box office.
