and had done many films in Kollywood, is yet struggling to make a mark in the industry; he is back in the lead role in the film Kallattam. The other pivotal roles are played by Richard, Ilavarasu and Sarika.Now let's see what the movie has in store for us.
Plot: Richard and Sarika are husband and wife belonging to a middle-class family. They have a beautiful young girl. Once when Richard goes to pickup his daughter from the school.two individuals on a bike dash on the girl. Richard takes his daughter, who is battling with life, to the hospital. The doctors say that a surgery has to be done since the girl's head is bruised. For this they ask Rs. 20 lakhs. Richard pledges all his assets to a pawn broker, However, the pawn broker deceives him and Richard doesn't get the required money. Hence Richard goes to the police station and lodges a complaint. Nanda, who is a police official decides to help Richard to get back his money, along with Ilavarasu, who works with him.In the meantime the doctors tell that the surgery should be done immediately.What happens next? Does Nanda help in finding the culprit? Does Richard get money for the surgery? What happens to Nanda when he is seriously trying to help Richard? Watch the movie to get answers to these questions.
Analysis: The movie has been shot with the backdrop of Chennai and Madurai. The story line has a combo of action and thriller which is sure to surprise the audience. However, director Ramesh has taken a time-tested story and has given to the audience.
Star Performance: Actor Nandha is stiff in most of the places and his acting is average. Richard does a neat job especially in the scenes when he is concerned about his child. Sarika also has grasped her role in a convincing manner. Ilavarasu is very natural in his portrayal and will get the cheers of the audiences.. Ezhumalai, who enacts the role of a villain, also impresses us.
