Plot
Seenu and Poornima are Sri Lankan Tamil couple. They are living in Australia and wish to own a house. To build a home, they need to apply for a bank loan. Another Tamil who uses sugar-coated words impresses Seenu that he will help him get the loan. Seenu trusts him, but he cheats on Seenu and escapes. The building work stops in the middle and Seenu doesn’t know what to do. He feels like as if he is stuck between the sky and earth. Another Tamil, whose visa time in Australia is almost going to expire, wanted to settle in the country and applies for the permanent citizenship, for which he had to spend a lot. His lover helps him financially. Did he get the citizenship? What happens to Seenu’s dream home? The rest of the film discusses their battle.
Star Performance
Yugendran lived as Seenu. His expressions when he is cheated and when he lost his confidence in building his dream house were fantastic. He brings out the feelings of the people who face the same situation. Mimi Leonard plays her role perfectly. Siddharth Anbarasu excels in the given role. Nithya Balasubramaniam and Ashwin Viswanathan delivered measured performances.
Analysis
Mohanraj has taken an emotional subject. The story showcases the lives of the non-residents. How they work, suffer, and save money to settle in the country they work in are shown well. Mohanraj also tried to focus on the negative side of the people who cheat the innocents. When many of us think that people living abroad are enjoying their lives to the core, Mohanraj showed how they suffer. The script and screenplay are fine. However, the pacing is weak. If the scenes were executed at a fast pace, it would have been more interesting. The visuals are excellent, and for people who wish to visit Australia, this film showcases its beauty and impress. The BGM is decent.

Verdict
Kaazh showcases the pain and disappointment of people, who leave their country for a better life. If we ignore the few negative points, this film is a one-time watch! Â
