Plot
Three people, including Ravikumar and Sithara, started an education centre under the central government’s Bharat Kaushal Yojana. Ravi expands his business in Kolkata with the help of Dinesh, Kolkata’s governor. Soon, he gets trapped in illegal activities. So, he decides to become the whistle-blower to reveal the corruption in society. Was he successful? The rest of the film follows Ravi and his educational centre.
Star Performance
Gokul is good in his role. However, we can see him following his father’s mannerisms. Dhyan did justice to the given role. Aju’s comedy works out decently. Sharanya did her role with perfection. Makarand Deshpande and Vijayaraghavan have done enough with their minimal screen presence.
Analysis
The director should be appreciated for his bold theme selection that exposes the corruption involved in education. All the departments are almost touched on in this film to elaborate corruption activities. However, the screenplay falls flat in some places. The first half is a bit slow. However, the second half moves at a brisk pace. Though the cast did their best, stronger casting would’ve been better. The visuals are decent, and Kochi is beautifully captured from the top angle. The editing could’ve been better in the first half.
