Plot

Midhun and Anandhu are friends who belong to different social backgrounds. These two people work for Reghu, a local political leader. Anandhu and Midhun are the brain and muscle for Reghu. Though Anandhu’s mother seems to have accepted their friendship, she treats Midhun differently by giving him tea in a separate tumbler. Midhun knows all these well, but he doesn’t care, as he is very much used to them. However, Anandhu doesn’t see this partiality, and showcases that his friendship is the best and not his social status. The same is followed in their political lives, too. Now, Midhun is a forest officer. Midhun invites Anandhu and their common friend for a jolly meeting in a forest. However, Midhun has a plan. Like Midhunm, everyone has their own plans. What happens next in their lives follows the rest of the story?

Star Performance

Kathir’s Malayalam debut is decent. His performance is good, and his lip-sync is perfect. Hakim’s performance is impressive. His character is layered, and he projects his character well with his subtle performance.

Analysis

The screenplay moves in a non-linear pattern, creating excitement for the upcoming scenes. Those scenes when Midhun invites Anandhu and Anandhu’s suspicion were shot well. The visuals are fantastic. The forest frames are perfectly set. The BGM is quite impressive. Although these are good, the characters of Midhun and Anandhu should’ve been penned better. Anandhu is said to be the brain in the political setup. But it is not visually shown. Kathir has action sequences to showcase his character, Midhun, as a rugged guy.

Verdict

Despite the flaws, the film has some watchable scenes, showcasing the stars’ potential. The movie is watch-worthy at least once!
