Sara and Tom are husband and wife. After a birthday party, when he broke down, it was found out that he was food poisoned. The police investigated the case and suspected that it was a murder attempt. They started digging into the personal details of Sara and Tom. What happened to Sara? Who is the suspect? Were the cops able to find out the culprit, if any? The rest of the story deals with this.

Star Performance

The performances of the stars are impressive, especially Mamta’s. Her expressions are fantastic. Sijoy did a decent job. The rest of the stars just appear in the film, and the excellence in their performance is a question mark.

The film has an exciting plot. Though the scenes are planned well and executed, a few scenes miss the grip. The story is set in Bangalore, and the portions where the cops appear are in Kannada. The makers hadn’t opted for the subtitles for those Kannada portions, which is a big setback. The first half is interesting than the second half. If the rest of the stars had performed better, the film would have been more interesting.

What’s There?

  • Script and screenplay are good
  • The first half is impressive
  • A few twists are entertaining

What’s Not There?

  • Not all the stars performed well
  • Subtitles for the Kannada portions are missing

It is a decent suspense thriller with some exciting scenes. If the second half had been shot better, the film would have attracted more audiences. However, Lalbagh is watchable once!
