Plot

DIG Joseph Chandy is a corrupted officer, who clashes with Kaduvakunnel Kuriyachan, a Pala Planter. Chandy has a solid political background. His corruption vanishes in seconds due to the political support he has. The film focuses on the charges made by Chandy and how Kuriyachan clears the issues.

Star Performance

Prithviraj is exemplary, as usual. His body language and expressions are fantastic. In action sequences, he satisfied his fans. Vivek Oberoi is good in his role. Though Seema has a very less screen presence, her role is vital.

Analysis

Shaji Kailas’ direction is neat. The script by Jinu is simple yet interesting. The characters are designed neatly. Though it is Seema’s small role or Prithviraj’s lead role, the director and team had designed every role strongly. Though the film moves at the right pace, the scenes towards the climax are not interesting. The visuals are beautifully captured in the dark. The long and aerial shots are clear and impressive. The music by Bejoy is neat.

Verdict

Kaduva is a good action thriller to watch for the performances of the stars, Prithviraj and Vivek Oberoi, and the supporting actors like Kalabhavan Shajon.
