With an excellent script at hand, director Lakki has created a very intriguing movie “ Raincoat Click to look into! >> Read More... .” Being a passionate love story just like any other, except for the ridiculous shower of double meaning dialogues, which is the only reason that the movie is being criticized. It was earlier thought to be a family-friendly one until the trailer came out and created disappointment among a huge number of audiences. Well, let me get this straight, the film is fun! It’s watchable! In fact, I feel that it is an excellent youth entertainer!

Plot: - The movie revolves around the love story between a handicapped youth and a doctor. It is set in the midst of a friendly village. The story is smooth and doesn’t get you bored. At first, the guy is extremely depressed due to his present handicap status. He is an amputee, having a missing limb. He uses all of his optimism and finally manages to win back his health. He soon meets a young doctor who comes to serve his village for 100 days. He experiences love at first sight, so does the doctor. He admits to her about his handicap status. It is his optimism and honesty which attracts him to her rather than his looks. However, the doctor doesn’t reveal her love for him. What happens next is predictable. Watch the movie and enjoy!

Analysis: - Being a simple romantic story with a few bits of comedy here and there, ‘Raincoat’ is definitely worth a watch!! It could easily attract a larger audience, if not for the frequent use of foul language and double meaning dialogues. The choice of the title is excellent. The word ‘Raincoat’ symbolizes the depth of love between the two souls.

Star Performances: - Vijay Jetty and Apoorva Rai have played their roles exceptionally well. Their chemistry is enchanting and is found to be the plus point of the entire movie Daniel has done an amazing job!! The sensational songs are what made this movie a potential hit!! The cinematographer Wesley Brown Wesley Michael Brown (commonly referred to as Wes >> Read More... did an excellent job in creating a pleasant ambiance throughout the movie with rain lashing down in most of the scenes.

What's There?

1) The songs are amazing! Fabulous work Daniel!

2) There is an atmosphere of peace throughout the movie which makes it more than suitable for the romantic scenes to be shot with ease!

What's Not There?

1) Excessive use of foul language is a major drawback and hence makes it inappropriate for family viewing.

2) Music could be reduced and hence, the entire duration of the movie could be shortened.

Verdict: - This film will be thoroughly enjoyed by the youth and by those who are looking forward to spending a peaceful weekend full of laughs! Enjoy!
