Plot

Rejected by several girls over marriage prospects, Shyama finds the ultimate solution to his problem when he discovers an app that arranges marriages online, where he comes across Shyama, who agrees to marry him and continue their relationship in real life.

Analysis

Online Madhuve Offline Shobana is a reality show produced under the guise of a film. Elements of melodrama are peppered throughout the film. It's plainly frustrating to sit through some of the more nonsensical parts of the movie. The actors reference typical Indian reality show hijinks, including yelling at each other, arguing, being loud and boisterous. One of the exciting parts of the movie is the lore behind the real-life dynamic between the two lead actors, Sushmitha and Jagappa, who met each other through acting in various reality shows, and got married in real life as well. It's a reasonably decent comedy movie; not exactly worth the time, but okay enough.

Star Performance

The cast does a fairly decent job, and it's interesting to see two actors sharing onscreen chemistry while being a couple in reality.
