A smart girl, a madly in love boy and the heavenly rains give us a story we will cherish for some time.

Plot: There is a son of a powerful business tycoon Varun (Prem) and a smart, tomboy girl Varsha (Amulya). It is love at first sight for Varun, but Varsha takes her time. She tests his patience and keeps analyzing him in hard situations and then says yes. The twist in tale occurs when he proposes to her. His father dies unexpectedly, it is all over the news, and she finds out that he is a millionaire. She is very careful in her life and highly respectful towards her parents. Varun loves her so much, even she does love him but is still highly conscious of what step she takes next. The rains play a huge role in the movie too. Will the lovers reunite? What will be Varsha's decision?

Analysis: The movie which literally means rain has used rain as a beautiful effect throughout the film. Premkumar is a great actor with a chocolate boy image. He plays his character well. Amulya also plays yet another bubbly and tomboy role with ease. Her looks are beautiful and sweet. They add to the chemistry of the lead pair. Rains are an important part of the story; the first rain is the symbol of the hero falling in love. The second rain is when he proposes her. And the third rain is the end of the story. The plot has a few funny moments when the double meaning dialogues break the monotonous screenplay. If you like getting wet in the rains, and the idea of them as a metaphor for love, you're going to love this movie.

Star Performances: The actors Premkumar and Amulya are excellent in their roles. Their chemistry is goals for many lovers. Premkumar as the millionaire, chocolate boy in love is almost real. He also is superb in his dialogue delivery and scene timing. Amulya as the pragmatic, smart tomboy girl is a role model for the current generation girls to be as decisive as her. She gets the best dialogues and the best scenes. Though the film only focuses on the lead pair, supporting characters are not given much screen space and hence they cannot be commented upon for the cameos they did in the movie.

What's there?

1. The music is superb and one of the best in the year.

2. The ending is dramatic.

3. The Superb chemistry between the lead pair, Prem, and Amulya.

4. The rain is shown as a beautiful effect in the movie.

What's not there?

1. The plot could have been more refined.

Verdict: The movie is a romance oriented film. If you love rains and love itself, it is a must watch for you. The songs are good too, and will keep you engrossed.
