Plot

Devara Kanasu revolves around a 12-year-old boy named Deva. He lives in a small village which is very far from the city. He desires to get his own bicycle and win the bicycle race, which is going to be organized very soon in his village. He also dreams of becoming a pilot. He meets a girl named, Haseena, who supports and motivates him to accomplish his goal.

Will Deva be successful in achieving his dreams? Will he be able to get a bicycle for himself? What struggles is he going to face in fulfilling his dreams? What is the relationship between Deva and the girl?

Star Performance

All the characters have tried their best to make the film interesting with their talent and dedication. These characters prove that they are an asset to the Kannada film industry.

Deepak and Amulya, the two children in this film, gave a fantastic performance. They look very innocent and decent on the screen. They played their role with all the necessary emotions. Their performances look very realistic and expressive.

Yuvraj Kini, who played the role of Deva’s father perfectly, executed his part. He has previously worked in movies like Kirik Party Click to look into! >> Read More... and 777 Charlie. His performance in this movie is outstanding. Vijay Rakesh, who played the role of Deva’s teacher, looks decent on the screen. Like his previous films, KGF and Ugramm, here also, he shows his versatility in acting.

Aarushi Vedikha and the rest of the supporting cast look fantastic in their respective roles.

Analysis

Devara Kanasu is an impressive Children’s film. Besides entertainment, the film also conveys a strong social message. It addresses the themes of Swacha Bharat, the upliftment of women, alcohol problems, and education in rural areas. It shows how these issues harm people and how this can be resolved. It beautifully depicts the culture, traditions, and lifestyle of the village. The film also teaches us various lessons, such as never giving up our dreams, never losing hope, respecting our elders, and conserving our environment and culture.

There are various romantic, motivational, and emotional songs in this film. These songs are heart-touching. The cameraman deserves a lot of praise for beautifully capturing the scenic beauty of Karnataka. All in all, Devara Kanasu is an impressive film.
