Plot 

The film revolves around the importance of food and family. Sarah, who works in an orphanage, takes a break and visits a resort where she meets Lattesha, an excellent cook. They start a conversation which leads to Lattesha narrating his childhood love story to Sarah. The story was about a childhood girl named Vedavalli, whom he married against the wishes of Vedavalli’s strict father and is blessed with a daughter. He mentions many different characters that played an essential role in his life. However, his love story was not as easy and romantic as it seemed. Things drastically changed one night when Vedavalli met with an accident and lost all her memories. Was Lattesha able to find peace with his family? Did Lattesha succeed in bringing back his wife’s memories? What made him abandon his past life? The rest of the movie deals with it.

Star performance 

 Karthik played a great role in trying out a different narrative for an emotional story. The actors did a fantastic job in portraying every character. The chemistry shared by Aravind as Lattesha, Priyanka as Sarah, and Aarohi as Vedavalli was impeccable. Ravindranath did an excellent part with his fantastic cinematography. The music deserves mention as Charan Raj played the most heartwarming tunes.

Analysis 

The movie is based on two sides of a coin with opposite narratives. The director has established the film’s characters on six different rasas – sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent, and astringent. The movie had a perfect mix of other characters, natures, and perspectives like a Thali. The film might have food, but was more focused on the challenging phases of life. The narration makes you indulge in the story that the curiosity only keeps increasing. The ending was much unexpected but brilliantly executed. However, the story still needed work as it felt that the emotions were robbed and could have given them time for their justification.
