Plot

Aparoopa revolves around Vijay (Sughosh Gowda) and his lover Haasini (Hrithika Srinivas). The film starts with a few gangsters entering a playground where Vijay and his team are playing cricket. The leader of this gangster wants to take revenge on Vijay because he had earlier beaten his assistant Kurup Kumar. The leader starts beating Vijay, and a fight breaks out between the gangsters and Vijay.

Then we are taken into a flashback that shows the life of Vijay. He is from a middle-class family and does nothing for a living. He falls in love with Haasini (Hrithika Srinivas), a girl from a wealthy family. Haasini finds Vijay a very kind-hearted person. However, due to a small misunderstanding, they both separate and break up. Haasini's father (Avinash) fixes her marriage with a rich person.

Will the love between Vijay and Haasini remain incomplete? Why did they break up? What is the relevance of the gangster scene in this film?

Star Performance

Hrithika Srinivas gave an outstanding performance. She shows her charm, especially during the dance scenes. She looks beautiful on the screen, and her expressions during the whole film are perfect. She proves that she can be an asset to the Kannada film industry.

Sughosh Gowda impresses the audience with his acting and dancing skills. From an angry man to a kind-hearted person, he shows all the emotions in a balanced proportion. He tried his best to make the film impressive. The newcomers, Hrithika and Sughosh, prove their amazing talent through this film.

Analysis

The film has a strong message for those lovers who have a misunderstanding in their relationships. It has various twists and turns in the second half. This song enriches the film’s beauty. It is a debut film for Sughosh Gowda and Hrithika Srinivas, and they gave a remarkable performance. Their dancing skills add value to this film. The film has a crispy runtime as it ends in just two hours.

However, the film has certain illogical scenes. For example, the scene in which the girl uses a bunch of flying balloons to send a message to the boy, and the balloons land exactly at the destination place. Moreover, the movie appears slow-paced due to the inclusion of unwanted characters.

The film Aparoopa entertains the viewers in bits and pieces. The performances by the lead cast and the song sung by Puneeth are the two strengths of this film. People who love old-style romance will like this film. It is a one-time watch film.
