The depiction of a new aged woman, a divorcee mother falling in love with a younger aged man fighting the societal oppression, and the complications of a single woman handling her family and life is the crux of the film. Star Performances and Analysis:
The directorial debut of Deepshikha Nagpal is well appreciated. She is a good performer while all her counterparts need much of acting class. Kaishav Arora has no appeal to be a hero except for his muscled body. The smaller fillers like friends and children do justice to the short stretch. Kunika as Raj’s mother is in a short yet impactful scene. Ayub Khan Ayub Khan is a famous Indian Film and TV actor who >> Read More... in a cameo is just a waste. The music is fine. The screenplay could have been more realistic in context to rest of the cast. There is sometimes overdue of Deepshikha’s dwelling onto the screen. Rest of the cast does not play well. Editing does not seem to be a concerning factor for the crew.Â
What’s There?
1. Deepshikha definitely remains successful in reinstating the fact that the society does not till date look at woman’s need as same as that of a man. There are dialogues that hit the bull’s eyes.Â
2. Deepshikha’s acting and direction are pleasing at some parts.
What’s not there?
1. A lot could have been achieved with rest of the cast giving a better shot.
2. The story has a repetitive idea which keeps it on a rather sluggish track.
3. The appeal is lost onto the screenplay and bad editing.
Verdict:
The movie may not do good as it is a melodrama of a woman imposing the same old rights and approach propaganda. The smaller audience of typical Indian daily soap series may like to watch a movie with this plot.
