Mohan has been Rohit Shetty’s assistant for quite a few hit films. It is a pure random comedy film as it was publicised and stays true to it throughout the story.

PLOT

The story is about two dumb and dumber guys, Shami, an ex-navy officer and Kedar, a Gujarati boy who has been denied the USA Visa multiple times. Both have one wish; both want to go to the USA. But there is one problem; none of them have a passport. Both plan to sail to the USA except that due to a twist of fate, they land up in Karachi, Pakistan.

In an attempt to escape from there and go back to India, they land up in a Taliban camp where they are misunderstood as Taliban militants. They get hold of a detonator except that they don’t know what it is using which they try to dial a number only to blast away the Taliban camp itself.

They are then captured by the US Army and later released only to be captivated again by the Pakistan Intelligence Agency, which wants them to pose as Pakistani soldiers. They are then caught in a tug of war between the Indian, Pakistani and US Army, each claiming them to be from their country, but what will they do and how will they get out of it?

Analysis

The movie is about silly comedy at a lot of moments, and it is these fun moments which make it a bearable film. It is like Sajid Khan’s Housefull where too many characters intermingle at the same time making no sense at all but still end up making you laugh. Just don’t take the film seriously and you will enjoy it.

Star Performances

Arshad Warsi Arshad Warsi is most popular for his role as Circu >> Read More... is good as ever. His comic sense and comic timing are on point. Well, Jackky Bhagnani’s performance too deserves a thumbs-up, he did well in what we were required to. Lauren Gottlieb Lauren Gottlieb is a famous dancer and actress .Sh >> Read More... was mainly unused, just there because maybe, an actress had to be, to just look beautiful and add the glam quotient.

What’s There?

1. Great India-Pakistan humour that is to be taken in a positive stride.

2. A good laughter riot.

What’s not there?

1. Great build up of the plot is absent; it doesn’t go beyond what’s on the paper.

2. The smaller important stuff is forgotten in an attempt to do something big.

3. A little dull second half and a redundant, illogical ending.

Verdict

You can watch this movie, at your risk, though, only if you don’t want to use your mind and probably laugh for 2 hours. Don't try to find any meaning.
