Arshad Warsi Joins King

King’s cast is growing bigger and better.

According to the recent reports, Arshad Warsi has officially joined the cast of King. While his role is kept under wraps, it will be pivotal to the movie.

King is the next movie of Shahrukh Khan, who is currently on a break after delivering three back to back movies like Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. While the collections of the former remain a mystery, Dunki barely managed to avoid being a flop through the overseas collections, thanks to its clash with Prashant Neel’s SALAAR.

King was initially the joint venture between Sujoy Ghosh and Siddharth Anand, where Siddharth would produce the movie. However, Ghosh had to leave the movie due to creative differences, allowing Siddharth to take over as the director as well. King will be the theatrical debut of Suhana Khan, who had previously worked in the direct to OTT movie The Archies, loosely based on the comic strip of the same name.

King is loosely based on the 1992 movie Leon : The Professional. The movie stars an ensemble cast of Abhay Verma, Abhishek Bachchan, Prateik Smita Patil, Sonam Bajwa etc.
