, are medical students. They get agitated due to the atrocities happening to the poor villagers by the local Zamindar, corrupt politicians, and the Naxalites. Will they be able to come strong against these anti- social elements?
Analysis: This is the debut film for the director. He should be applauded for choosing a delicate script with guts. Everything goes well during the first half but falls apart during the second half. The second half was of an average composition. The climax of the film was not up to the mark. Everyone easily understood the director's intentions, but the execution from his side was amateur. The end credits dedicate this movie to the farmers. But this movie was not completely based on them. There were many deviations, such as the medical campus, and all the sub- plots related to it. The main happening problem in Maharashtra, the suicide of the farmers, is the core of the story. The problem is quoted, but the solution for this is not provided. Rather, it concentrates more on the rise of the youth. The script was not much tight. Many of the finishing touch of the sub- plots are not explained in detail. The editing was weak. The songs were of no use.
Star Performances: Sikander gives a decent performance. But he needs to learn a lot. Gul Panag, who is brilliant in acting, is underused in this film. Arjan, Alekh, Sachin gave an impressive performance. Ashutosh Rana delivered a simple, yet brilliant performance. He overshadowed the rest of the cast. Prashant Narayanan deserves more screen space.
What's There: One can watch this movie for the extraordinary cast involved here. They dedicated their full efforts to a script with many loopholes.
What's Not There: The duration of the movie seems to be so long. Anything short and sweet will have a great impact. There are also too many sub-plots.
Verdict: A movie that can be watched once for its strong theme.
