Plot
Three murders happen at the same time in an AC coach of Vaigai Express, which is heading towards Chennai from Madurai. A young woman, a classical dancer and a TV reporter were killed in the train. While on an investigation, a terrorist, who travel on the same train is arrested as the suspect in the murders. Then the case is handed over to Samsudheen, the leader of the special investigation team. He finds out that the terrorist is not the murderer. An actress, who traveled on the same train, is also considered as a suspect and Samsudheen didn’t leave the TTR too. Who are the murderers and how Samsudheen finds it, is the crux of the story.
Star Performance
If we just see the Performance, then we could easily say that everyone has performed well. If we get deep into it, we could spot the flaws. There are lots of errors in the lip synchs. Will Neetu learn Tamil, soon? At least she should concentrate on her dialogues to avoid the lip synch issues.
Analysis
Shaji Kailas and RK join for the third time after Ellam Avan Seyal and En Vazhi Thani Vazhi. Their combination is good too. Shaji has designed a perfect role for RK and RK has responded to it well.

Verdict
RK’s action avatar is not new. His dialogues and body language make him look like a mass hero. Although the film has flaws in it, Vaigai Express is worth watching, at least once.
