Plot
In an exhibition of precious stones, Rs 60 crore worth of diamonds were missing. Jaswinder, a sincere officer, suspects Kamini, Sikandar, and Mangesh for this heist. Kamini is a single mother whom Sikandar marries. Jaswinder strongly suspects Sikandar in this case, and this puts his life upside down. Sikandar strongly tells Jaswinder that he will apologize for his wrong suspicion. After 15 years, he receives a call from Jaswinder. Why did Jaswinder call? The rest of the story speaks about this.
Star Performance
Jimmy Shergill has delivered an excellent performance. His expressions are good, especially, his frustrated feelings. Avinash did his best in portraying Sikandar. Tamannaah did a good job as a single mother who is pulled into an unnecessary sequence. Though Tamannaah’s screen presence is less than Avinash she pulled off her role better and has given a strong performance. Rajiv Mehta performs well as Mangesh.
Analysis
The film has a simple story with needed twists and turns. With its gripping screenplay, the film makes the audience watch their TV screens keenly. Yet, after a particular sequence, the pace starts oscillating, and the audience may feel that some scenes are unnecessarily dragged. Though the songs are good, they are not needed in the situations in which they are inserted, which eventually makes the running time stretched. The suspense scenes are good, but they are a bit delayed. The cinematography is fine, and the lighting is perfect.
