Sachin Gupta is an Indian music director born on 12th August 1984, in
New Delhi, India. Besides being a music director, he is also a composer, guitarist, record producer, and singer. Sachin Gupta has studied science at school level. He was the student of Frank Anthony and later joined Apeejay School in New Delhi, he studied there for two years. Thus in his education line, he changed his interest into various courses. Having gotten through IIT-Delhi in mechanical engineering, he decided to study the physics (honors) and went to Sri Venkateswara College in Delhi University.
After a year, he decided to study B.COM (Honors) at Shahid Bhagat Singh College while working on his music career. He has shown his remarkable performance in various shows and concerts, whether held in India or overseas such as Dubai, London, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia. He performed in music festivals like the Jazz fest, Edinburgh fest, and Scotland fest. During one of his concerts in London, he had a meeting with the vice-president of TIPS film and moved to Mumbai in 2005.
Sachin has made a variety of songs under various genres. He became famous from his rock music composition in Atif Aslam’s Doorie. He has also worked with different singers and music artists like
Alisha Chinai, and many more talented artists. He also composed music for Apache Indian and Khiza, UK. Sachin undertakes a perilous journey into Bollywood with his two compositions “Yaad aaye wo pal” and “farishta” released in 2007.
His first full-blown track in Bollywood was from the film
Dil Kabaddi starring
Konkona Sen Sharma,
Soha Ali Khan, and
Rahul Khanna. He then worked in film ‘Jugaad’, starring
Manoj Bajpayee. His music for the movie ‘
Jo Hum Chahein’, with lyrics by ‘Kumar’ was greatly appreciated.
Sachin Gupta married the actress, Sasha Agha in 2014. He went against his parents and got married. Thus, their relationship did not last long, and they broke up. In 2015, they got separated, and Agha shifted to Dubai. However, Sachin did not agree to their separation.
