He had four sisters and three brothers. Since childhood, Asrani never had interest in business and also he was very bad in mathematics. He completed his schooling from St. Xavier School and received graduation from Rajasthan College, Jaipur. To pay for his education, he worked as a voice artist in the all India Radio.  He had a passion about acting.
