Plot
Kajroo and her family are poor farmers in rural Rajasthan and their life is depicted in the examiner below. When the circus comes to the neighboring town, she takes the children across the desert to watch the show. The movie revolves around a couple from a relatively immature class and they have two kids. The backdrop of the film is based in the rural part of Rajasthan. It portrays their socio-economic struggles and achievements and a mother’s words that she would take her children to the circus show that is in town. This is depicted in the backdrop of local elections, which are equally accompanied by corruption as its undertones. Politicians occasionally buy votes from the villagers using money and food, though they offer no hope.
Star Performance
Nawazuddin Siddiqui is the star performer of this movie as people will get to enjoy his perfect comedy-timing with perfect humor again with the rage that has been seen in the movie Gangs of Wasseypur. However, Tannishtha Chatterjee has done an outstanding job after Nawaz, she has portrayed the role of strong women of backward India, which is incredible to watch.
Analysis
The basic idea of the story is very natural and simple and the narration is also promising the film has some fantastic visuals and some great capture of the place of Rajasthan. The songs are from Shankar-Eshan-Loy the film’s music suits the film and the performances of the primary actors as well as the two kids Ghumroo (Virendra Singh Rathod) and Panni (Suhani Oza) are fabulous and very enjoyable to watch.
Yet, the obvious and literal definition of the beauty of the film may be identified only in the presence of numerous little intrigues in the plot. It reveals India of the year 2000, which has inequality, social prejudice, and political terrorism.
