You will be nostalgic of Priyadarshan’s film s after you watch Bumper Draw. However, this comedy film is neatly directed by Irshad Khan.
Homi Dotiwala tells his story to some TV journalists. The story that he tells seems to be the cause of all his ailments. This man is not very rich but still is in possession of an ancestral Bungalow. His close pal and the pal’s son are eyeing the property. In his attempt to run away from this greedy duo Homi gets entangled in the trap of a threesome who is in dire need of money. And the scenes that follow are truly filled with humor and silly mistakes. There are many people who are after the “bumper draw” in the film. What is the cause for this bumper draw? The flick starts off with a good pace but the intention to intersperse humor is spoilt due to over talking. There is no reason for the entry of certain characters in some scenes.
Repetition is the main drawback of the movie. There are lot of chaos and confusion in the first half with the usual running around.
Star Performances
When we tend to get immersed in Rajpal Yadav’s acting prowess he disappoints us in the second half.

Analysis:
Though the film tries to deliver a good message it becomes quite sermonizing in the end. Also the story is in the predictable lines. There should have been some refinement in this flick which would have made it much better. What it takes to live in a busy city as Mumbai and finding real joy is unearthed in this flick. This film is also shot in the slums of Mumbai.
Verdict: If you can bear with the preachy instances of the film, you can watch it.
