Plot

The story starts with Neha getting suffocated deep under the water and fighting with life. The scene shifts, and we see her admitted to the hospital. She was still unconscious, and from Rumesh and Neha’s doctor’s conversation, we get to know that she has forgotten all the past events of her life and is waiting her to regain her consciousness. After some days, we see Neha regain consciousness and get discharged from the hospital. While getting back to her home, she witnesses weird visions. Her house was in the middle of an island in Switzerland, and she is now phobic to water after the accident. So, they took airways to reach their home. On entering their house, it was utterly unarranged and gave off a spooky atmosphere. Rumesh informs her that there is some work going on in the house they; converting their home into a hotel, because they have a lot of loan burden. He also says that it was Ayesha’s business idea. As the story proceeds, we see Rumesh trying to help his wife catch up with her past life, but Neha still fails to have confident in his words. She also suspects the house to be haunted, but Rumesh denies the claim without a second thought. Later, a girl visits the mansion and introduces herself as Ayesha, her childhood best friend and from their conversation, we get to know that Ayesha does not like Rumesh and claims that he is a liar, who is trying to manipulate Neha.

Star Performance

Despite possessing a small cast, the dialogues and performance is interesting and engaging. The narrative continuous to appear to be an entertaining horror fantasy even though the characters and conversation is simple the sense of terror is limited to a nutshell. The visual elements were good but the ghost appearance could have been better. The unsolved mysteries of the characters are revealed throughout the remaining part of the movie.

Analysis

The characters in the film are unfortunately the standard varieties, and developed gently starting out but unexpectedly well. The manufacturing layout of the doors and halls which capture the ominous aura of the film is excellent. The luxurious flooring reflects the crisp and cold atmosphere of the plot. Plus, the concept of putting an adventure to rescue the people who have fallen into danger comprise of all wonderful components. The storyline maintains a strong suspense towards its halfway point, at the point it drastically and grimly changes. In the end, the film commences quite slowly as customary. However, the remaining part of the movie develops its gloomy and disturbing ambiance with enough of jump scares.

• The movie helps the viewers stick throughout with good amount of suspense.

What’s Not There?

• The film reveals too much in the last 20 minutes, so the initial segment seems stretched.

Verdict

The ending had a good twist; the sound effects and music they used were very unsettling and set the perfect atmosphere. Overall, this review contains an equal amount of positive and negative points.
