The flick, 'This means War' is an American movie that hit the screens in 2012. The movie is intertwined with romance, comedy, and espionage. The movie is a direction by McG. The movie plot revolves around two CIA agents. Both are thick friends, but much to their shock, and as a twist in the movie, they find themselves romancing the same woman.Â

do pivotal roles in the movie. Chris Pine and Tom Hardy have done the roles of CIA Agents Foster and Tuck. Both are charismatic and are well-equipped in the clandestine operations of the CIA. Consequently, they are the toppers in the clandestine operations. There is a twist when the friendship between the two is endangered as both of them fall in love with one woman.Â
The woman is Lauren, done by Reese Witherspoon. The blonde’s appearance is so enchanting that Chris and Tom do not mind cutting off the close bond they hold for each other. They do not stop with just that. They have dangerous gadgets in their possession which they use against each other in combat to attain her. Foster is the carefree character in the movie and Tuck is a very sensitive father of a child whose marriage is broken.Â
Tuck is stranded in the middle of life with no female companion to share interests. He surfs the web for a dating site. Then, he comes across Lauren, the beautiful blonde done by Witherspoon. Throughout the movie, one could shed spontaneous disbeliefs for the wonderful screenplay the movie has in it. Like with Lauren and Tuck, who are so good-looking that they need not land on such a website to get a date.Â
The date proceeds smoothly, but soon Lauren finishes the date with Tuck for a visit to the video store. Trouble brews as the character Foster meets Lauren and falls for her. The rest of the scenes show how each of the two friends try to overtake the other. In the process of overtaking, Foster and Tuck cross obstacles. They even attempt to throw a drug-laced dart at the other man and also watch each other’s moves with the help of a spy camera.Â
The movie’s story happens to be superfluous. But, that does not discourage the audiences from being drawn to these charismatic characters on screen. The movie ‘This means War’ is worthwhile and would prove a good weekend entertainment.
