Plot
The story intertwines two love stories across different eras. The film features Luke Collins who is a bull rider that was very close to death and Sophia Danko, an art university student, who wants to make attaining a living from it. They first encounter one another in the film when Luke assists Ira Levinson, an older man, out of a crashed car in a road mishap. Recalling how Ira courted his wife Ruth and how the two used to go for a date, Luke and Sophia get to think of themselves. Relying more on the concept of past and present time lines, the film is rich in the complex images of love, sacrifice and loyalty.
Star Performance
The duty of Scott Eastwood was to represent the inner conflict of Luke and Britt Robertson shows a true face of Emotion of Sophia character. A great passion is portrayed by Alan Alda while portraying Ira and the tension of losing something precious is depicted evasively. The film succeeds, therefore, in recalling the audience’s sense of historical context with considerable persistence.
Analysis
George Tillman Jr. has tried as much as possible to depict the film with style as much as the story overdosed with emotions portrayed on paper. Thus, the setting of the film in the South helps to make its romantic style still more clear. Besides, the score is suitable, but it has no jingle; Simple and catchy so that people can easily hum. In the case of timeframes, the cinematographic work tastefully created curiosity in both past and present timeframes while bending to traditional frameworks of the romance drama genre.

Verdict
The film neatly lays the foundations of an engaging romantic drama, more so to Nicholas Spark’s fans. It has no deep idea, but the natural play of the actors and high stakes of two main characters can be called a plus. Even despite that it sets very ordinary scenes in front of us, it suggests rather tender and rather beautiful image of love and people’s destiny.
