Plot
Arthur Fleck stays with his ailing mother. Arthur’s dream was to become a good standup comedian. But he could not succeed in his career and fulfill his dreams. Arthur has a strange issue that he could not control his laughter and even though he faces this serious trouble, he dreams to become a notable person in life. But his failures push him to think differently and he becomes the reason for crime in Gotham City. What does Arthur do to meet both ends of life? To know about this, watch the movie!
Star Performance
Joaquin Phoenix is such a talented actor, who had proved his worth once again. The rest of the stars had also done their part well.
Analysis
The movie is scripted with the 80s backdrop. The director has designed the script well and the screenplay is very much gripping. Each and every scene is perfectly designed and when we notice the movie keenly we could find out a lot of emotions and the minor expressions have a lot of meanings in it. Especially when the hero meets his neighbor in the lift and after a conversation they smile at each other. Their smile has a lot of meaning. Thanks to the director for inserting whatever necessary for the movie. Coming to the cast, the titular role performed by Phoenix is brilliant and he had to carry the entire movie on his shoulders. The cast selection is wonderful and everyone in the movie fits well in their roles. The BGM and cinematography are excellent.

Joker might not have attractive jokes but it has huge emotional and sentiment sequence designed to impress the audience. Joker - Watchable once for the excellent performance!
